Sang Ngo

Sang Ngo joined the O’Brien lab in February 2016 as a lab assistant. He graduated with Honors from the Biology department in June 2019. At Stanford, he has been awarded several grants and awards for his research, including the BIO-X Undergraduate Research Grant and the Firestone Medal for Excellence in Undergraduate Research. Sang’s independent work examines the mechanistic basis of how tumors destabilize and co-opt native control signals to fuel their own growth.
