Keerthana Yellapragada

Keerthana is an international dentist and a lab assistant at the O’Brien lab. She graduated from Kamineni Institute of Dental Sciences, Hyderabad, India in 2018, and is currently working towards licensure in the United States. She works as an assistant for Aparna Sherlekar, analyzing data on cell extrusions and their role in maintaining tissue homeostasis. In the future she hopes to apply this knowledge of stem cell behavior to study the effects of dental materials on oral tissues.
