Emile Magny
Emile Magny is a scientist in the O’Brien lab. He obtained is PhD in Biology from the University of Sussex, UK, in 2014. In his thesis, and during his career, using Drosophila as a model organism, his research has focused on demonstrating that genes lacking annotated coding sequences (due to their very short sizes), can actually code for small peptides with important biological functions. He joined the O’Brien lab in 2023, where he is currently studying the mechanisms governing organ size adaptation to physiological needs.
