Anna Kim
Anna Kim is a postdoctoral researcher in the O’Brien lab at Stanford University, joint with the Pruitt Microsystems and Mechanobiology Lab at UC Santa Barbara. She graduated from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden in 2016 where she worked on the development of micro-scale platforms for investigations on biological systems, encompassing microfluidic devices and micropatterned surfaces. She was awarded a postdoctoral fellowship award from the Swedish Research Council (VR), 2017-06156. Anna Kim is currently studying the impact of mechanical forces on intercellular communication in the stem cell niche using novel microsystems and Drosophila midgut as the model organ.
